Review of Safety 1St Comfy Cushy 3-in-1 Potty

We bought this seat after our other Safety 1st seat had us completely fed up. It was difficult to clean and definitely not good for larger kids or boys. I think Safety 1st has redeemed themselves with this seat.

The removable seat is REALLY cushy - you can pick it up and bend it all over the place without damaging it. Rather than having a seperate shield for little boys, you simply flip the cushy seat to take advantage of the built-in cushy shield.

The potty is incredibly easy to clean...you just remove the blue cushy seat, dump the contents in the toilet, and give it a quick rinse. The inside of the potty is smooth and has soft curves, unlike other potties that are full of 90 degree angles and tiny nooks and crannies that are difficult to clean.

Unlike some similar potties, the handles on this seat can attach to the base so it is easy to transport if needed. The handles are also removable for easy cleaning.

Review of Safety 1st Jack Potty

I bought this for my son to use.He still sits to pee and likes to lean forward to aim. Most other little potties have arm rests that block his legs so this potty is perfect for him. (That is the reason I bought this potty.)It is easy for him to take the bowl out to empty by himself. It is fairly easy to clean. The jackpot noises are cute, but sometimes it congratulates him before he does anything. That is really not very important to me.It doesn't affect whether he goes or not.Overall, I am completely satisfied with this potty.
Also - He is almost three and of average size and it fits him fine.

Review of PRIMO 4-In-1 Soft Seat Toilet Trainer and Step Stool White with Pastel Blue Seat

I ordered this potty chair after seeing the others all had some negative aspects. This seat is perfect! My almost 2.5 year old daughter took to it immediately. It's not too small (she's very tall) but not too big (she has a petite bottom). It cleans up easily, and is not so lightweight or small that it becomes a toy for her.The seat part itself comes off to use on a regular toilet, and has handles for the child to steady him/herself.The bowl insert is large and removes easily for cleaning. There are also handles on the base that overlap with the handles on the seat so you can easily pick it up and move it.The lid closes "just like mommy's potty" and becomes a wide flat step stool.Perfect product!

Review of Boon Potty Bench - Green

I bought this potty because reviewers said it fit their taller/bigger/older children best. We were definitely challenged with finding a potty to fit our son who is a big kid for his age, he's not yet 2.5 years. While this potty bench seemed like a good option, he has been attempting to use it and it is extremely difficult to get him positioned just so behind the shield. The shield is too small in height and width, it is a very difficult target for a toddler. We have tried to direct him behind it or get him to point down, but for a new trainer, all of this creates more anxiety than anything else. We are extremely frustrated. The design of this chair is very thoughtful in the way the shield inserts, unfortunately it does not function well.

Review of BABYBJÖRN Safe Step

I thought the price was a bit steep for a step stool, but man is it well made! This step stool will not budge, with all the rubber grips it has. It's also a lot nicer looking after it's been used a while because the black rubber on the top wears so nicely.I looked at another step stool in the BRU store when I bought this, and its rubber already looked icky just from people testing it out. This Baby Bjorn one is also very strong, even for heavier children.I'm very pleased!

Review of Fisher-Price Precious Planet Froggy Friend Potty

I purchased this potty chair for my third son. I knew from previous experience that I wanted a simple design with smooth edges and the splash guard built in. I had previously purchased the Baby Bjorn one piece thinking it would be the one. After getting it home I quickly realized it was WAY to small, unless you are potty training your 6 month old, my son is 18 months and 29lbs. I was happy when I found the Fisher Price Froggy Potty. It has the great simple design that I had wanted and the splash guard was built in. The base is nice and wide which makes it stable and has handles on the side for your little one. There is also a handle on the back that makes it easy it pick up in one piece it move for cleaning. The blue bowl lifts out to make cleaning a breeze. My only complaint was that there should be some rubber grips on the bottom so that it will not slide across the floor. I cut out a piece of non slip liner and placed it under the potty, problem solved. I would recommend this potty to friends.

Review of BABYBJÖRN Toilet Trainer

My daughter started with the Baby Bjorn stand alone potty seat - which was great when she was just getting started with the idea of using a potty. She quickly became too tall to use the stand alone potty seat, so I ordered this Baby Bjorn Toilet Trainer and it has been fantastic. She quickly learned how to put the seat on the toilet herself and adjust the wheel to make it snug. It was also easy for her to remove and hang on a small butterfly doorknob my husband attached to the side of the sink cabinet. The seat gave her a great sense of independence and allowed her to be comfortable and secure while learning to use the big potty.

It is also great for traveling. I would put it in a zippered canvas tote and carry it with us into rest areas (it really does fit any toilet) - she could sit securely and be protected from unclean surfaces (I would carry a small container of Disinfectant wipes to clean her seat off each time we used it in a public restroom).

I highly recommend this Baby Bjorn Toilet Trainer!

Review of BABYBJÖRN Little Potty

My sons are 6.5 months old, and 2 years old. I purchased this potty when my eldest son turned 10 months old.

I wasn't exactly potty training him then, just letting him get used to the apparatus. I could tell he enjoyed it though. He had it on his head, he liked to put bouncy balls in the "pot", and eventually (about a week later) he began to sit on it while anyone was in the bathroom.

I love the design of the little potty. Both of my boys happen to be very small, my oldest is quite thin and tall, while my other son is just tiny. This potty is NOT for larger/older trainers, but it happens that my boys fit the potty just fine. The whole concept is also no where to be found other than in the Little Potty... straddling. Yes, your child "squats" onto the potty, and holds the little handle, a.k.a. the splash guard. The child should be comfortable, and the possition is actually very "good" for "making". There is no where for your child to lean back, but durring those longer time periods, the design of the potty makes it so that the child doesnt become too uncomfortable. I can justify to its comfort because my children like to sit on it to watch television, so it honestly cannot be too bad!

The potty is also completely one piece, and I mean that's all it is. Its lightweight, and even stackable! The wide base means it wont tip over, and its also small enough to fit in anyone's bathroom. When I say small its small, about 4 inches off the ground, and about 8x9 inches! The size has also proven to be very useful while stowed away in the trunk of my Jeep Liberty, we just pull over and let him go (with a plastic bag lining the potty of course!) Along with its small size, and one-piece design, the potty is incredibly easy to clean. I can just rinse it off in the sink/tub, and wipe it off. I would also recomend spraying it with Lysol or something, atleast on occasions.

The potty's also come in variety of colors including... red, ocean, white, sunflower yellow, black, and pink. We happen to own two, my eldest son has a blue one, where we just purchased a red one for my other son (who is completely clueless as of what to make of this thing!) They are also fairly cheap, at around $9 a piece, another surprise from the usually $$$ Baby Bjorn.

As for performance, the Little Potty works for us. The catch pot is tiny, around the size of a large grapefruit, yet my son has never overflowed it, whether that be with urine, or feces. My son started "training" at around 16 months old, and can now dump the contents into the toilet as well, although there have been a few messes on occasions (due to spilling, not due to the potty's design). We also found that if you add "grippers" to the bottom of the potty, it works better. Before the "grippers" the potty could slide across the tiled floor, making a horrific screeching sound as it went... but not any more!

I totally recommend trying it out in the store before your purchase. If that's not possible, have your child sit on it as soon as you get home. I say this because I am positive that there will be negative reviews because the potty is just too small, but if its too small when you purchase it, return it and try another... My friends 98th percentile 3 year old couldn't fit on this potty, and although there was disappointment, she bought him the other baby bjorn stand alone potty (with two parts) and he fits better on that one.

I purchased a potty seat for the toilet, which my son is getting accustomed to now that he's older, but I certainly plan to use the Baby Bjorn Little potty for my next son, who may even become trained earlier! And they will defiantly be around for at least another 2 years, what a great potty!

Review of Sesame Street 1-2-3 Learn with Me Potty Chair

I bought this with the hope that my son would get interested in the potty because it had Elmo on it.I was pleasantly surprised by how well it is made. This is the third potty chair I have purchased (I returned the other two).Iis heavier plastic than the others. It is easy to put together and take apart for cleaning. The potty opening is larger than the others, so I am hoping there will be fewer times that I have to clean the entire chair after use.The removable seat does fit the big toilet, so I don't have to purchase a second seat when he is ready to try the big toilet.Lastly, Elmo is cute and says positive remarks when the kids push his hands. This is worth the extra $10 over many of the others.

Review of Fisher-Price My Potty Buddy - White/Blue

I bought this potty chair for my Granddaughter who is 17 months old and beginning to potty train. First of all it looks just like a big potty, only it's their size. The perfect size at that. Her feet touch the ground perfectly. It has a cute smiley face on the 'tank' part, which is a great back rest. The lid easily opens and closes just like a big potty. It also has a handle so the child can 'flush' and on the opposite side of the 'tank' a retractable toilet paper holder that holds any size toilet paper roll. If you don't want to put the paper on it, just push holder in and it's gone! The other awesome feature is it fits perfectly to a big size toilet seat. At first I wasn't sure it was going to fit, I thought my seat was to small, but then I pushed it down until it snapped into place and WOW...it fits nice and snug! Doesn't move around or slide at all!! AND there are NO gaps between the little seat and the big seat. It's a perfect fit. To remove it, simply squeeze in the clips underneath and take it off. On top of ALL of these great features, it also has a sensor so it sings once the child goes potty. You don't even need a lot. I poured in a very small amount to test it first to see how loud it was or how much it would take to set it off and it goes off immediately once anything touches the sensor, which is located at the center bottom of the removable bowl. It plays a little child's voice singing a happy song, tells them to use paper and flush and is not to loud or annoying. For kids that might be frightened of it, you can very easily turn it off on a switch under the unit. The product is strong and will last through several potty trainers. I HIGHLY recommend this product!

Review of BABYBJÖRN Potty Chair

We are currently training our 2nd child. With our first, we had 3 in diapers, giving us MAJOR motivation to get him potty trained, so we tried almost every seat out there. Most of them were okay, but just got nasty quckly, were hard to disinfect, or were uncomfortable for my son.The ones with the removable splash gaurd are not gentle and can scrape a child's sensitive parts. Those were awful. We were "potty training" for a full year before we finally saw the BabyBjorn potty chair in a local botique, and DS immediately sat in it.He chose blue, and we took it home.Within a week, he was trained, and began using the "big boy seat", so we saved the seat for our daughter. It was incredable! Now our 23 month old daughter is training. We bought her this white babybjorn seat for our downstairs bathroom, with the blue upstairs. She has been "training" for 6 days now, and is almost completely day trained!

This seat is by far the best in our experiences. Here's why:1. the seat has a higher back and sides, which gives the child support while sitting down, standing up, or simply sitting there.2. It is NOT easy to tip! several of the others we tried tipped without much effort when our child was putting pressure on the sides trying to sit down or stand.3. It is super easy to clean - there aren't a bunch of seams to gather gunk, it's easy to wipe down with a clorox wipe and be done. It's also super easy to take the little bucket out, and soak in clorox or hose down.4. Kids can choose what color they want! This was such a big deal to my children --- also, they are solid colors that can look nice with your bathroom. The surface is also nice that your child can decorate the back with cute stickers if wanted.5. It works for children of all different sizes! My son was 40" and 42lbs when potty training, and my daughter is 25lbs and a little shrimp, and this seat fit them both WONDERFULLY.

Overall, having tried MANY seats, this one was the absolute best for both our children, and I would highly reccomend it to anyone in need of a seat for potty training success~!
